Officials from Keeneland and the New York Racing Association are working out the details in a proposed multi-track Pick 4 wager that would involve both the G1 Toyota Blue Grass and G1 Wood Memorial April 9.
According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, Keeneland has submitted a request for approval for the wager from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, which is scheduled to meet Friday.
Keeneland officials indicate that the Lexington, Ky., track would handle the wagers, and the revenues would be split between both tracks. Takeout would be the standard 19 percent.
In addition to the Blue Grass and Wood Memorial, officials indicate that it is very likely that one of the other races selected for the Pick 4 would be a stakes race.
